SEE YOU OFF TO THE EDGE OF TOWN is a comic drama depicting a Chinese family's reunion in America after a long period of separation. The parents, arriving from Hong Kong, and the older daughter, Jenny, from New York, gather in LA to join the younger daughter, Maggie, for a three-day road trip to the Grand Canyon, hoping to spend some quality time together on the vacation. Yet the long separation has changed each of them, and the family is literally driven into an inevitable collision of attitudes and values.

In an ensemble setting, through a close observation of the fierce dynamics between various family members, the film examines issues that challenge the traditional Chinese family values in the 21st century and redefines the meaning of "family." What begins as a series of mundane dispute become unforgettable moments in the history of a family.
